Vocational Service
Rotarians look for opportunities to represent the dignity and utility of their vocations in service to society. They not only promote and foster high ethical standards in their own business and professions, but also promote the recognition of other individuals, groups and occupations to reward their worthy efforts.
 
Recognition, rewards, and community service projects in which the Rotary Club of Fallbrook participates include:
 
Employees of the Month: Each month an employee and a teacher from the local school district are recognized at a club meeting for their exemplary work ethic and contribution to education.
 
Military Awards Program: Each March, the Rotary Club of Fallbrook in a joint meeting with other N County Rotary Clubs, recognize outstanding Marines and Navy personnel in a special award ceremony.
 
Sheriff, CHP and Firefighters Awards: Each November, the Rotary Club of Fallbrook, in a joint meeting with other service organizations, recognizes the North County Firefighter of the Year, Sheriff Deputy of the Year, and the CHP Officer of the Year in a special ceremony.
 
Students of the Month: Each month one 7th and one 8th grade student from Potter Jr. High are recognized at a club meeting for their special contributions to the school and to other students. .
 
Youth Service: During the year individual Club members participate in a variety of student oriented projects and events.

Scholarships: Awards annualy to Fallbrook High School students.
 
4 Way Test Speech Contest: Each year San Diego County High School students compete with each other in a process of elimination speeking competition held at Rotary club weekly meetings.
 
LEADS: Jr. High School 8th grade students are sponsored to attend a week-end Leadership and Ethics seminar held each spring at a Palomar Mountain Camp.
 
Rotary Model UN: High School students are sponsored to attend a week-end Model UN session each spring at USD.
 
Speakers Corner: High School students are sponsored to attend weekly meetings to hear individuals from business and other professions speak on their vocation.
 
Rose Bowl Parade Float: Rotarians and Interact students travel each year to decorate the Rotary float.
